Aurora Insight Awarded Contract with NRO to Demonstrate Space Commercial RF Capabilities

Aurora Insight, a commercial provider of radio frequency (RF) data and analytics, today announced a contract with the National Reconnaissance Office’s (NRO) Commercial Systems Program Office under the Strategic Commercial Enhancements program. Awarded under the Broad Agency Announcement for Commercial Radio Frequency Capabilities, the contract is part of NRO’s ongoing effort to evaluate emerging commercial capabilities for space-based RF measurement and monitoring. The contract will provide the NRO with the opportunity to evaluate how integration of Aurora Insight’s capabilities in spaced-based RF sensing can support the US government’s current and future needs. 

Aurora Insight directly measures the global RF environment with its terrestrial and space-based sensor systems to provide government and commercial customers with comprehensive data on spectrum use and wireless activity. With a focus on delivering timely and actionable information, Aurora Insight’s global RF sensing solutions inform key decision makers on the state of global wireless activity and support emerging defense needs within the national security community.
