Fixed Wireless Access Scores were developed to help wireless service providers target their FWA deployments for maximum returns. Before deploying, the FWA score reveals how suitable the location is for FWA deployments, based on a set of factors  that analyze the current status of connectivity in the area and the population that resides there. The location is assigned a score ranging from zero to 100, with a higher score indicating that the location would benefit greater from FWA deployments.

How we calculate the fwa score for a given location

FWA Scores range from 0-100, with a higher score indicating that the location is better suited for FWA deployments. The following metrics are used to calculate the FWA Score:

  1. The number of broadband providers in the area
  2. The advertised speed of the broadband providers in the area
  3. Demographics/population
  4. Work from home population
The FWA score of a given location ranges from 0-100, with a higher number indicating a more suitable location
